Go Figure with AFSF
Assisting Alberta skaters of all ages and skill levels
When you become a member of the Alberta Figure Skating Foundation (AFSF), you are supporting the development of all figure skaters in Alberta.
That bright smile on the face of an award recipient, the development camps that take skaters to the next level, even those pre-competition butterflies - your commitment and generosity help create it all.
The Alberta Figure Skating Foundation is a not-for-profit organization committed to recognizing the achievements of dedicated skaters in our province and promoting their development at all levels in the sport, in both competitive and recreational figure skating programs.
Thanks to our hardworking volunteers and their amazing fundraising efforts, AFSF has been able to keep annual membership fees affordable. Our mandate is to assist all Alberta figure skaters and we believe keeping our fees reasonable helps us achieve that goal.
For skaters, there are countless benefits to an AFSF membership, including the following:
- Discounted rates at AFSF sponsored clinics
- Access to sponsorships and clinics
- Summer Skating Assistance opportunity
- Access to the Wildrose Competition and Triple/Quaduple Achievement Awards
The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.
Club membership is $80/year
Family/Coach/Official membership $35/year
AFSF is run by a small group of volunteers who are elected to the Board of Directors by the general membership on an annual basis. We operate independently of Skate Canada and the Alberta/NWT-Nunavut Section. We need your support and welcome the involvement of all Albertans.
